Excelent little cyclone with great capacity. I have instaled it on the dust extraction for my cnc machine, works great

Works fine. Adapter was useless for my design. Basic cyclone was worth not having to build another Thein separator. My previously built Thein separators have worked better. Time will tell if this brittle plastic cyclone was worth it.

I’m a huge fan of low profile separators, so when I started shopping, I looked at recent patents in the US PTO to see what I could learn about current and emerging technologies. I saw one in there by a guy named Thomas Huntley that looks exactly like this one, although yours spins the other direction. I’m not sure if that absolves you from infringement, but it was encouraging because I know so much of what he has invented works exceptionally well. So I bought it. And it does work exceptionally well and at a really cheap price. I’ll let Tom know so he’s on the lookout.

Unfortunately did not receive the cyclone as the courier did not provide notice of arrival before returning back to the supplier. Still want it but need to work out the delivery issue

Installed on a 4" small workshop system. 1hp king Canada fan. It works but only at about 70% efficiency. Having to empty the filter bag every other week, else it loses to much suction.

Poor design for inlet and outlet port adaptors
No
While I love the fact that this is clear, the dust collection outlet port setup that came from the factory with the Vevor dust collector is a really poor design if you plan on using it with a shop vac. The pieces don’t fit tightly and instead of manufacturing the pieces fit properly at the factory, they supply this crappy tape to install to fill up the gap and take up the slop. Of course, a cheap band aid solution like this only last for a little while. I’ve literally only had this about two weeks and only used it a few times. When it was sealed in the very beginning, it worked very well, as you can see in the video’s I posted. Sadly, the hose has come loose several times and messed up the cheap factory seal. I was able to fix it by installing a Powertech 4” to 2 ½” reducer and 4” dust control flex cuff. Some electrical tape completely sealed up the adaptor situation I had to rig up to adapt it to my shop vac hose and now it’s airtight. But one should not have to purchase another company's part to make Vevors brand new item functional. If I had to do it again, I would most likely look at different model dust collector if I planned to use this with a shop vac. I've decided to get a real dust collector blower instead of using the shop vac and that will use a 4" hose I can attach directly to the top of the Vevor. Then I can swap this adaptor to the inlet side, and I will update my review at that time.

It does its job as it should however the sizing is not quite right. It’s more like 3-3/4” I had to wrap duct tape around the inlet and outlet to get it to the correct dimension for 4” hose. supplied reducers also don’t fit correctly if you plan on using them, plan on modifications to make them stay in place. 3 star mainly for lack of support when contacting customer service.
