Been very impressed with this separator. My garage just has a gravel floor in it currently and getting sawdust on it is not fun to clean up. I found this and got it hooked up to my table saw and miter saw and wow! I have one of the small 1.5 hp harbor freight dust collectors i picked up from an auction cheap but the bags on those suck. I pulled the bag off and just used it for suction instead of a shop vac. This cyclone separator takes out everything from what i can tell. I've ripped down a lot of boards on my table saw and even though i don't have a filter or bag on the dust collector, i don't have a dust film on my vehicles in the garage, and one truck is parked 3 feet from where the dust collector is sitting. The only complaint i have is that the port on top to attach a 4\" hose to is a bit short for a clamp to grab on too. I have had the hose come off a couple times. I just have to be sure i have the clamp down as far as it can go and its fine. Another 1/2\" taller and it would make a huge difference. Some day i plan on getting a bigger dust collector as some sawdust still blows up out of the table saw, but this separator will be put in between no doubt. The wheels on the it will make it very easy to move once i get concrete in someday.

I am using this separator with a Jet dust collector. I have filled up its can twice now and there is barely any dust that has made it to the collector. So it does exactly what it is meant to do. For the money, you are not going to get a better separator. Just set your expectations realistically. You are not going to get the same quality as separators that cost 2-3X as much. The hose and connectors that come with it could work if you spend some time sealing them. The hose intake and out feed are very short which makes it difficult to connect a 4” hose, but I did it and it works fine and stays on. It could just be improved. The casters are cheap plastic, but they roll. It would be nice if there were 4 casters and they could lock, but if you really want that then you can install some as an upgrade. If you are on a budget (and if you are looking at this separator then you are on a budget) then buy this. You won’t regret it.

Excellent dust separator. This is my second one from Vevor and it’s great. It comes with everything you need. If you need extra hose, they have that too. It does a wonderful job. I got one attached to a shop vac for dust collection in my workshop and now i decided to put one in line with my central vacuum. Why? Bigger collection tank and the fact that it’s protecting my investment. It’s really easy to install and use and it’s just great to know that you’re saving the filters. It’s a no brainer

For the money it does a very good job. Presently using with a shop vac. Can't wait to try it with a dust system

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Decent value for what you get. Performs well, plastic parts feel stout, metal lid seals great, easy to empty.  3 wheels on the bottom lead to tipping but I run it on a separate cart so it’s a non issue for me

I needed a cyclone separator for my shop vac and this is a great size and easily configured to make a mobile vac station.

Best thing I ever bought for dust collection absolutely works wonderful

I bought this Cyclone separator thinking it was a bit of a gamble at this price, but this separator performs perfectly and iI have it coupled with a 1HP and 1 micron dust collector (Craftex). The separation is almost 100%, almost, but it certainly would hold its own against more expensive brands. This Separator is excellent value for money and highly recommended.
