The value is great. I’m 67 and have put together many online projects, this was not bad to put together, a whopping 60 screws to build barrel. Instructions are typical of today’s online products. I would not recommend this if you have not put much together. Took me 2.5 hours. You will need a nut driver and a flashlight. Looks good and should hold up well.

I was hesitant to get this due to people claiming that it was confusing to put together. However, this is the most affordable large size composter I could find, so I got one. I put it together today in about 30 minutes. There is an easy to understand instruction booklet that has both images and clear written instructions. Additionally. There are not many parts at all and there is only ONE way that most things can go, so this is absolutely not a confusing puzzle. I don’t understand how some people had such a hard time with this, but I assure you it’s not complicated. The only challenge is if you’re alone and trying to reach through the inside to put the nuts and bolts together after the barrel is more than half complete.

Love it Useful to repurpose my food scraps

Vert happy with it, just getting started with loading it. I had to get compost starter online arriving just a couple days ago, couldn't locate it in town. Looking forward to starting to use it on my garden plants.

It seems sturdy enough and works great. However, the directions are not very clear in some areas. Be prepared for a lot of screws

I got this for kit hen scraps for my garden. I have other homemade ones of 50 gallon metal barrels, but wanted to try something easier. So I got this one. It comes flat packed and requires a decent amount of assembly. The plastic is moderately thick and feels pretty sturdy. Once built, it works just fine. It was do much easier than trying to cut open a metal barrel, then put hinges on it, and make a stand sturdy enough to hold it. This unit is smaller than my homemade ones, but not by much. It holds a lot of compost and was much easier to build.

I like it now that's it's all put together but it wa very difficult to do so and the directions ver not very helpul.
