Bought for use on a set of truck struts and they worked great! Compressing vehicle springs is a scary process but between the effective locking mechanism and the smooth operation, these worked very well. For comparison, I also have a scissor-type spring compressor and that is more bulky, cumbersome, and difficult to use than these. I did grease the full length of the internal screws and telescoping/sliding tubes before use but they probably would have worked alright if I hadn't-I did it more for longevity.

About mid September I made a purchase of this tool, and I'm glad I did. Since I bought struts and spring coils separately. I needed a compressor to do the job at hand and this one worked well for me. For future jobs such as this one I'll continue to use this tool to get any coils compressed for assembly. I am impressed with this investment that will be of use of many up coming assemblies. Not only a great investment but the task of completing struts with coils is of no problems only ease of a job well done. I used a few different compressors in the past and their is no comparing to the VEVOR Coil Spring Compressor. It is by far more safe use, the feel is strong holding coils with confidence. And compressing seems easy with no strain to the tool. Over all great tool, very good investment, made strong of good quality.

Avant j'avais un compresseur hydraulique 1T fort pratique mais lourd et toujours des petits soucis de purge à faire. Mais ce compresseur est fort pratique, léger et facile à mettre en place. La seule chose que j'ai fait à la première utilisation c'est de dévisser complètement pour graissé la vis même ci celle-ci était légèrement huilé.
