Factory springs only
Worked great for factory springs but it did not work at all for my Bell-tech coilover. It actually bent the up right square stock so now I can’t use it at all. I had to take my coilover to a shop.

For bmw e46
Too big to work on bmw E46, the spring is too short to fit the tool, had to compress with the top plate for the tool to be useable. Is not super expensive but I would expect to be able also on small passenger cars with it.

Werkt goed

damaged product
I bought this to do a specific job and boy was I surprised when it arrived! the box was massively damaged and had half a roll of tape on it keep it together. I opened it and both of the smaller boxes were also torn open. I laid everything out and much to my surprise I had all the pieces. I went to put the feet on and the had to hammer the base back into shape? the big surprise came when I tried to mount the cylinder, one of the holes was smashed so much the bolt wouldn't go through. as I was figuring that out the pump cylinder spring shot off? the piston broke in half! the real fun was when customer service wanted me to fix it locally? well my first thought was to see if I could by another cylinder, nope. I asked customer service to send me one, nope! I thought about what they had put on the table and went with another vendor and bough a spring compressor, then requested a return, they sent it and refunded the money. I never felt like they actually understood the issue, that a damaged box shouldn't have been shipped, that their first action should have been to ship me another! its hard to even imagine buying anything else from them.

Failed on first use
Bought this to work on my Toyota Tacoma and the thing failed to compress the oem spring on the first try. The jack cinch pin bent and the loser spring compressor slide twisted laterally bending the upright in two places. This is not safe for use with light truck springs. I requested a refund and they said they will send a new upright instead and I have to source out a new hardened pin. They did refund me a small amount to buy a replacement pin. I’ll be selling this thing as soon as I get it operational again.
