Mr.
Well constructed and reasonably easy to assemble
Still waiting to begin my project but satisfied that it will be suitable for my requirements

Easy build, ran the test file fine.
Might have a y axis motor issue, haven't debugged but the price is great to start the journey. Having used an overpriced tormach basic unit this is pretty good at 6000 dollars cheaper. The external pad is a great idea. The clamps are silly but workable.

Not bad
It's cheap, but effective. The power supply is under powered, and the work holding is a bit cheap, but for the price, it's pretty decent.

3018 Pro, The build and first thoughts
I bought this machine, the Cnc version not the upgrade to laser. ( same but you have to get the laser as a add on)
It took about 2 1/2 hours to assemble, some of the parts are Alu, some are plastic , drive for axis, Screws are square with anti backlash nuts, not ball screw, so there is some movement in the table. Built to a price,
Comes with some sample software to get you going, also will work stand alone or with USB cable and windows or apple (?) I have windows 10 and can drive it around.
Good instructions and QR code to get to YouTube videos
Pro cheap easy to use
Cons cheap, no limit switch so no Home function or Stop switch. Not all Alu so not stiff
Will not take heavy cuts will cut plastic, wood and may be Aluminium but not heavy cuts, don’t think it will cut steel (have not tried)
Software is a bit flaky, some dropdown menu’s are in German!
Okay for an entry level machine, would be better with limit switch’s as standard as you can easily over drive the machine

Great beginner CNC
This little CNC is great value, good for learning how to operate a CNC. I added a laser to mine which bolted straight on, to do some engraving.
These units are expandable(Y axis) but I think the first upgrade is some quality bits.
Making small wooden signs is easy with this.
