Great price and just the right size for my old chimney that has no flue tile. Easy to assemble and easy to make a modification for securing.

Chimney cap made well. Assembly instructions are pitiful.

I haven't tested it in the rain yet. I don't expect it to leak. I would buy it again.

The roofing guy was going to charge me a couple hundred dollars for one of these. I got this and it went right on, it looks great on the house too.

My flue extended too far above my chimney to be able to mount this Chimney Cap

I have a triple chimney, 2 are 13" x 13" and 1 is 9" x 13" the caps would NOT fit unless altered so the tops would not touch each other. Also you have to drill into the concrete crown or the tile flue and that was not a good idea to drill the tile flue and the concrete crown was way to low to attach to, sadly there is not a clamp type attachment. I made them work but wish I had found others

Now it was the time to take care of the chimney. I have an old very old house and I didn't want to spend too much on a chimney cap. This is not a cheap quality product or a high end product either. It is something in the middle. As soon as we attached without issues to the chimney I'm confident It will last for a few years to come. There right size for our chimney is 9.5x9.5 since this size is not standard, we had to keep it higher than expected. It's secure and I hope we don't have to do readjustments.
