My husband said it was pretty easy to put together and attach to chicken coop wall. Solid and attractive looking! We bought because farms cats were eating the eggs after automatic gate opened. Keep eggs safe for awhile until they figured out where the eggs were going! Uggh! Anyone else have this issue, let me know if you’ve figured out how to solve! That’s only issue, the product will well designed and solid!

So I bought two of these and so far the first one was bent pretty bad the one part in the picture was damaged pretty badly I think it’s due to the handle of the delivery not the seller it was actually packed very good but fedx and the way they handled the package as I have seen to many times damaged it

I bought two of the 6 compartment, steel, roll away nest boxes and hung them on suspended cattle panels on the wall of the coop. I actually purchased these and mounted them in the reverse of the intended position, which is how they should be designed IMO. (Who wants to walk in chicken crap every day to collect eggs?! ) I installed them with the egg collection lids on the exterior of the coop, facing the north side which will keep the eggs cool in the summer. I installed hardware cloth on the formerly designed entrance side, that now faces the exterior (see the photos) The build quality is decent with one concern being the nest tray supports are a little bit too thin and bend easily with our fat chickens jumping in and out. Careful bending upward of this metal will prevent the nest tray from inadvertently sliding out with a chicken in the nest! I will weld in a few 1/8 strips if this becomes an issue over time. I had to put wood chips into the nests to convince the chickens to use the nests and place wood roosts for them to jump upon when entering the nests. My next modification will be privacy entry curtains from grain sacks, as the chickens are accustomed to this and feel more secure. The roll away nests are also preventing the broody type hens from setting on the eggs as an additional benefit. Overall a worthwhile purchase that will reduce our cleanup and maintenance time. Perhaps Vevor can offer a model with reverse mounting? It will give them a potential market edge over other offerings. As a side note: every Vevor product that I have purchased with one of their nice looking plastic labels, are all crooked on the product. Nothing like trying to display your product name proudly, but dropping the ball with poor execution of the intention! Minor gripe... but a poor product representation IMO. Sorry- I would have included full photos but the resizing of photos to fit is a pain in the ass...

Easy assembly, good design and good value overall. The lid for the egg pockets are a little troublesome. I would love to see provisions for the eggs to get a little further from the chickens once they roll down to limit access for egg wreckers or broken eggs due to being “overloaded”. Again, good value for the money. This is a far superior solution overthe traditional nesting boxes I’ve always used.

Overall, I’m satisfied. It works properly. The edges were a bit too sharp and needed filing down. The drawers are difficult to pull out for cleaning. You have to bend the metal parts to remove them, which isn’t very easy, but overall it works.

I like the product well enought made. Hard to get chickens to use it.

Works ok.. not the easiest to get the trays out to clean and sometimes the plastic breaks but for the price it’s kinda worth it if you want something to last a few years. If you buy 2 you can probably get a good 10 years out of it with spare parts from the second one you buy.

Went together easily, instructions pictures were okay could be a little bigger , price was good. Chickens started using right away.
