Disappointed User
I'm very disappointed with this unit and wish I had never bought it. It doesn't do a good job. It goes through the cycle just fine but does not remove all of the air. The bag does not suck down tight around the meat. You can press on the bag and work the remaining air to one side of the bag; that's how I know there's still air in the bag. Sadly, our old Food Saver does a better job. I like that the bags are cheaper and it's faster because you don't have to pre-make bags. I have been using it but I'm putting a lot of fish at risk of freezer burn.

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS UNIT!
It's sealing capabilities are hit or miss. Sometimes it does very well at vacuuming others it doesn't. But the biggest reason you shouldn't purchase this item is because I bought it and in less than 6 months the pump went out while in the middle of processing and bagging! It has been used 4 times.Unfortunately you can't just run to the local box store and buy a chamber vac. Vevor wants several days to get back to you before they can even discuss a solution with you. Do yourself a favor and buy a brand other than Vevor!

Vacuum sealer has had multiple issues
This chamber vac has been nothing but problems since I bought it. First it started half vacuuming. Then the circuit board messed up and customer service instructed me to fix it. Now it won't pull a vacuum at all or seal a bag. Complete waste of money. Didn't last a year.

Malfunction
Unfortunately, this product came in a non-working order. Hopefully Violet will correct this quickly and I can improve the rating. I previously purchased one of these before that worked well. Disappointing this one is not functioning.

Spend the money on a better unit
I recently tried the VEVOR Chamber Vacuum Sealer (380 W) and was disappointed. Despite running several cycles, it fails to remove enough air — I could still see air pockets inside the bags after sealing, which defeats the point of vacuum storage. On top of that, the seal doesn’t hold well: seals sometimes leak or bags gradually puff up again over time, even if stored properly. For a unit advertised as a strong chamber sealer, the performance felt sub-par.
Overall, this model does not deliver a true vacuum seal and consistently under-performs. If you’re looking for reliable long-term food storage or airtight packaging, this unit is likely to disappoint.

Owner
Do youseld a favor and spend a few extra bucks to get a machine from a company with customer service.
You are gambling with a purchase of one of these vacuum machines from Vevor. Reading the reviews, if it works it seems to work great. In my case, it came to me not working correctly, and the customer service at Vevor is dismal.
It is not worth the hassle. If you choose to move forward with a purchase, then I wish you good luck. You are going to need it.

Won't buy from Vevor again and recommend others don't either
To be sent a malfunctioning unit and then offered $161 on a $489 purchase as 'compensation' is despicable. This is not a business I would ever purchase from again and will make it known to anyone that will listen.
