Feels like a pro tool. Thick metal on the Clamshells. Threads are smooth. You need to have the race on the bearing when pulling it off and there are good videos online for how to use it. I've used this on the Dana 44 and the trailing arm stub shaft bearings on my C3 Corvette. Requires a 36mm socket and it's nice to use with an impact gun. Way easier than a bearing splitter and puller. Highly recommended. Excellent value.

Did have to weld the sleeve as a precaution but have has no issues. Have used on several pinion and carrier bearings. Will update if anything changes

Had no issues breaking down my dana 30 and dana 44. Everything is pretty heavy duty, my only issue is that I haven't managed to figure out the best way to rest everything on the stand that came with it

Giving 5 stars only because it got the job done on a 10.5 sterling on an F250. The clam shells are slightly too big to fit the carrier bearings, so I had to use a BFH to smash the collar down. That made the white powdercoat peel off and get all over my freshly rebuilt diff! I was able to get both sides done and my rear is noise free. Dave Mustaine would approve.

It worked for removing my Jeep differential carrier bearings without damage. My only issue is all the clamps don't fit on the storage carrier, so I know I'll probably loose them at some point. I don't pull bearings that often
