The maker itself is pretty easy to use, the instructions were a little hard to interpret but it was pretty simple to figure out. pin materials are pretty cheap quality but it does the job for start-ups.

Petits défauts : - La machine ne supporte qu'une petite épaisseur et peut rester bloquée au delà. - Le cutter circulaire pour le plus grand diamètre n'est pas aux bonnes dimensions. Je dois constamment le redécouper derrière. Y a-t-il une possibilité de le recevoir dans les bonnes dimensions ?

Not gonna lie, for $80 this is great. 3 sizes of buttons, easy to port around, lots of material. But I gotta be honest, the button backs are sometimes backwards. And if you don't pay attention to that, it's just not going to work. You want the sharp edges up on the backing, but you want the pin opening to be facing down. So you may have to switch them around sometimes. Learned this the hard way. Photo paper is okay for the 2in buttons but otherwise it's too thick for the smaller ones. Use regular paper or presentation paper. As for how they look? If they come out right, they look amazing! So, for starting out or just for a hobby, this is great. My only issue is the pin backs themselves aren't put together properly.

I purchased this for my teenage daughter because pre-made button pins get expensive when you want a million of them (IYKYK)! So far, I've discovered that the machine doesn't work with the plastic backs that came with it. The buttons I made with the metal backings worked really well. The directions said to use the plastic washer with the metal backings. I didn't receive a plastic washer and my buttons came out fine. The backings that came with the maker have loose pins, making it hard to pin them on and remove them. I probably will purchase better quality supplies. It comes with a circle cutter that is just ok. Overall, for the price I paid, I am happy with this product. We shall see how it holds up over time.

I have found the plastic backers work better with this machine than the metal ones. I may just have a problem with adding the 58 mm gauge for the metal applicators and that’s why I’m encountering the problem with them.
