Bought September 26 to raise and lower my wind turbine, I bought this and adapted it to raise my wind turbine. Once fitted it proved perfect for the job . The quality is great and being a boat item will stand the weather although I intend to fit a box cover. Very pleased with it , it also features 2 speeds. A great buy for any job and good value.

Not very easy to crank.

It does not compare good to my expectations. It is extremely hard to crank when lifting a lid that is metal mesh that is not even close to 1,000 lbs.
