I purchased this set of tongs because frankly, I can't make them for this cost. So far I have been pleasantly surprised. Recently making a set of hatchets I found the hammer eye tong to be particularly useful. The tongue rings and have a ball at the end to allow using tong clamps to hold them shut. On square stock the v bit songs have a good grip. The reins are beefy.

nice cheap pair of tongs when your first starting. They are way over built though and heavy as a result. Just remember to keep them cool or your joint will get sloppy.

NOT wolfjaw tongs. Missing groove down the center. It is uncomfortable to hold anything in line with them, but if you need to hold anything adjacent, that is perpendicular/90 degrees, then these are the tongs for you. I will be buying from another place as I need legitimate wolfjaw tongs for most of my work. The finish on these though are quite nice, however.

Decent tools for the price.

The tongs are pretty good. They are a bit on the heavy side but they get the job done. Now that I have some I can make my own custom ones.

solid and cheap tongs. I needed to do some small adjustments to the tongs to fit my use, but these are great for beginner blacksmiths.

Little awkward to use. Probably has a lot to do with my hands on experience. Will probably do a little modification to one of them.

Nice heavy set of tongs before the forge.
