Customer Reviews for VEVOR Blacksmith Tongs, 18” Wolf Jaw Tongs, Carbon Steel Forge Tongs with A3 Steel Rivets, for Horseshoes, Curved Shapes, Block Forgings, for Beginner and Seasoned Blacksmiths and Bladesmiths

These tongs work awesome. We have to use a forge at work often and this set works great. I used a less superior set before that could not hold up and would bend.

I have not used any of the tongs yet how ever the reins are a consistent thickness and the boss on both halves match each other with a sound looking rivet installed.

I haven’t had the opportunity to use these tongs yet. They feel like their quality made and have good length. I’m anticipating the time when I can use them.

Great feel and excellent grip. These are well made and are a great starting point for anyone getting into blacksmithing. The reigns are a little heavy but you get used to them

I have been blacksmithing for quite a few years, I bought these to try them out and see how useful they were as a potential starter set for someone starting blacksmithing. I was very impressed with both the offset and bolt jaw style tongs, they work well over a wide range of material sizes. they are a bit large and a bit cumbersome for the sort of work I generally do, but entirely workable (I am more of an artisan blacksmith than an industrial blacksmith) . The wolf jaw tongs were not really wolf jaws, just a set of wavy flat jaws. They work well enough though as flat jaw tongs. My final say - for the price, at about $28 dollars a set of tongs, (about half the price you will pay anywhere else here in Australia) they are well worth the money and a worthwhile investment for someone starting out. Getting a good grip on your work is essential for a blacksmith, and having these on hand when you are learning, will give you a wide range of material handling capability.

So far they have been great, great price and work like they should,no issues,I would definitely recommend these tongs to others
