This is a well made boring head. For the money you cannot beat it. Was able to bore bearing journals as needed and hold tolerance. Sure there are other boring heads that might be better out there but not at this price. If you know what you are doing you will be happy. The boring bars are good too. They come very sharp, might want to dress them so the do not chip but mine are holding up just fine so far

this tooling seems well made nicely ground surfaces clean smooth threads the r8 mount seats well in the mill . the cutters fit snugly in the boring head and the head adjusts smoothly . it comes with all necessary hex keys . the brazing on the boring bars is a bit sloppy but nothing that should affect performance . over all the tool and cutters are a good value and should provides good service . the plastic case not so much.. the cutters don't stay in theirs slots and seem to be always piled in the middle after moving the box and the box itself is light plastic and probably will not suffer much abuse

Well made and finished. Tools were sharp and it worked very well for the price.

Nicely done cutters are ground properly. Gib lock works bar holes on mine are spot on

Works great. Tools hold up well. Only complaint is the dial for adjusting the cut is awfully far from the index line but no big deal really. It still holds .001” tolerance no problem in 4140 steel even! Great deal

It's a great product for what you pay for it comes in a nice case and it looks pretty precise
