I purchased this weather station less than two years ago. I have had to replace the battery pack twice and it is already signaling that it needs to be changed again. Vevor doesn’t stock the battery pack like the one that this weather station came with so I have had to take it to a specialty battery store and have them build a new one each time. Apparently the battery pack lasts approximately 6 months and this weather station states that it is “solar” powered during the day. I live in sunny California and this weather station is not blocked at all by shade so this tells me that it is not “solar” powered at all. I gave it a two star rating because the display screen in the house is awesome! However the outside equipment could use some help.

The lights on it look pretty, and it is pretty useless

I guess there are two versions of this. One has wifi. I did not get that version so I can track how the weather has been going.

Bought this to replace a similar unit (from another brand) that had lasted 3 years. Quick install insisted that I face the solar panel north, which was obviously wrong in the Southern Hemisphere, so I turned it around and mounted the wind direction vane pointing in the opposite direction as well. Turns out there is a Hemisphere setting in the detailed instructions which had been pre-set to South, so the wind direction was actually 180 degrees out and it was back up onto the roof to fix it. The display is bright but does not adjust for ambient light, also the unit was difficult to connect to wifi because the AP signal was very weak. First winter storm recorded a gust of 130km/hr but the constant wind reading seemed consistent with the BOM station a few km up the coast. We got deluged but this thing didn't record most of the rain, perhaps because it came in horizontally. During the next less windy event it recorded 11mm but my simple wedge gauge recorded 39mm. Temperature seems plausible in Winter but the sensor has little shading, so will probably overheat in Summer unless it's a bit breezy. The pressure sensor seems to work once calibrated, but was wildly wrong out of the box.

Does it measure the air pressure? Yes Does it tell you a relatively accurate indoors temperature? Yes Can you access the online features? No Does this record rainfall accurately? No It does appear to be a pretty cool little device but unfortunately half the features let it down leading to it being a very expensive temperature guage and really nothing else.

I have bought 2 of these units from Vevor. I did finally get one to work after many frustrating days and no help support from Vevor. The second one I purchased has yet to work properly . I am totally unsatisfied with this product and the company.

Envoi soigné et rapide. Par contre les données émanant de l'anémomètre et du pluviomètre laissent à désirer par rapport à celles des stations météo nationales.

This product worked great for about 2 weeks then just quit working. They kept saying they would send another,but after 30 days they said they didn't handle this product anymore so gave money back
