Junk Does not work as advertised.1 leg has very low voltage under partial load. Customer service terrible.No one at customer service has EVER answered the phone or responded back from a message left. NEVER AGAIN!!!

garbage. does not work. winds up and then blows. I've sent emails. I was told that it was not working because of improper hook up. I've hooked up dozens of phase convertors. DO NOT BUY!

Note that the phase converter hp rating must match the motor hp rating exactly. When tested with a 1hp motor and a 2hp phase converter the output voltage was 278V between two phases with a nominal input voltage of 240V. This is a dangerous condition and will burn out the motor windings This info is not clearly shown on the website and only in the user manual included with the product.
