Ordered this for my husband and he just love it! Would be better if it at least had tongs gloves or and apron with it though

Nice product all around for beginner. Learning a lot. Still amazed every time I use it. Haven't acquired the skills just yet to make my ingots look all nice and smooth as I see others on various videos and social media sites. Geti g there I think.

the forge is great but didn't come with refractory cement which is fine bc a big bucket of it which only used half is only 18.99 locally so I don't mind

Great little foundry. I melted some copper and brass in it with no trouble. I tried melting steel in it and while it did liquify some of what I put in there the temperature required to do this is pretty brutal on the foundry and it warped the lid. My crucible isn't looking so pretty anymore either, though still functional. For softer metals this is great.

The furnace is good, but what a mess about with the refectory cement! The insulation is very absorbent and I ran out of material
Would have been nice to have more detailed instructions on how to apply the cement
Also the tongs are not good - in fact dangerous! As many have mentioned the tongs will break the crucible, but pouring can be a equally dangerous
