Decent value, good features, but don't expect a Wilton.
I came in hesitant after using a friends Wilton 6" vise, I realized I needed an upgrade over my ancient 4" vise. Not wanting to pay the price for a high-end Wilton I found this. Feature wise, it matches up to it's higher-end and pricier competitor. Outside finish is good, jaw and hammering surfaces were milled smooth and level. My main gripe, and it only exists because I came directly from using the Wilton, is fit quality. This vise has a log of slop/play in it. From the threading (opening/closing), and from the outside jaw being able to swivel from the fixed jaw. This is the major issue I have. As it makes closing and having the jaws actually align a major issue - if that's something you need from a vise. It's able to swivel about 3-4 degrees, which doesn't seem like much, but it's enough to make it so that either corner would sit 2-3mm (1/8") off from flush. The other quality issue is in the casting, or lack of clean-up on the casting. I took it apart when I first got it to grease the main thread, and found a lot of casting/milling swarf on all the internals. Basically this thing comes out of the casting, is milled, and then painted with zero final cleanup performed. Some burs were enough to slice a finger open easily. This can be slightly overlooked since it's all internal, and all outside features are fairly smooth, but just goes to show it's not a high-end piece. But even with those gripes, it's still a strong vise, with the features I needed at probably the lowest price I could find, so simply ensure you set your expectations and you'll be fine.

Great light homeowner vise
A nicely built vise, perfect for a home workshop. It Holds work pieces securely allowing you to work on it safely. It has the option to easily rotate the vise to allow a different angle to make work easier. Good price for the homeowner shop,

Great addition to garage workshop
This vise is a great addition to my garage workshop. It was easy to mount on my worktop and pretty self explanatory to use. It’s going to be very handy with my upcoming projects.

Heavy Duty Vise
I have a number of bench vises that I can use for different purposes. This one is on the upper end when it comes to weight and apparent strength. The vice is easy to install using the included bolts and nuts, and is very stable once tightened down. There is minimal wiggle in the vice even when loose, and it gets tight with absolutely no movement present. The vice does NOT include rubber mats however, so be cautious if putting a finished surface in here that you don't want damaged.

Price is right!
For its size, it is good that the jaw width is 4.5” and the opening can accommodate 3.3”. One advantage is that it swivels making it easier to use. For less than $40 this is a good prize and a good buy.

Great little vise
Although the directions are somewhat humorous due to translation, this is a great vise. In US units, the width of the jaws is 4.5", the maximum opening is less than 3.5", and the maximum torque is greater than 1500 ft-lbs. It weights about 11 lbs. and the bolts furnished are good for a bench about 3/4" thick. If your bench is thicker, the bolts are 25/64". The vise rotates 240 deg so you will have to plan ahead before you bolt it to your bench. The only possible drawback is that it may be a little small for some projects but you will have to be the judge of that beforehand.

Great solid bench vise!
A lot nicer than I was expecting for $35! This vise feels heavy duty, clamps move in and out smoothly, swivel base works well. Clamps stay tight, tolerances on the unit are nice and everything moves around easily. The paint job looks nice and the build quality looks excellent. Far better than other vises in this price range! The vise works great for me beating axles apart, pressing small bearings, other various heavy duty work, the vise feels solid so far. Also has a miniature anvil on the side, comes in handy to pound on little things, straighten or flatten metal etc.Great quality and unbeatable price! This is a good vise, a much needed tool for any shop!

Looks good
I have a vice similar to this, but it is very old and starting wear a bit so I thought I'd try this one. This vice looks and feels solid. The grip plates are 4.5 inches wide. The anvil on the back is about 2 inches by 1.75 inches. The spread when fully extended is about 4.25 inches. The teeth that hold a bar below the grip plates could be a little bigger as they are just under an inch tall. But overall look, feel, and operability of the vice seems good. I also really liked the fact that they included 4 bolts with nuts to secure the vice to my workbench. However, the bolts only extend past the bottom of the vice by about 1.5 inches. I would have preferred two inches just to make it easy to attach to a 2 inch board.

Seems sturdy
The castings seem sturdy. It is a small vise, make sure its sized for your needs. The only possible weak point might be where the tightening screw goes through the front jaw, seems little loose, but the stabilizing bar at bottom that slides along with jaw is good fit and keeps jaw steady.

Great unit for the price, versatile, fairly solid and swivels out of the way when not in use. Very pleased with the purchase.
