It's just a big fat vice. The swivels and it rotates to some other very cool clamping shapes for pipes and broomsticks. I mounted it on a 16x16 MDF. It comes with M12 by 1.75 bolts. But I use carriage bolts at 2 in by half inch. This gave me options to move the vise to different places on the bench or store it away.
