The product works. I was able to melt some copper down however by the second use my Crucible was broken Flames were coming out of the furnace pieces where the two gas lines go in. I tried getting help with the product and they were not much help wrote them telling them i just wanted to be refunded and didnt hear anything after that.

Easy to assemble and get rolling, but as seen in my pictures my 14kg crucible has a crack covering a decent portion of the base/side. I’m super disappointed because i was ready to start smelting tonight but now I don’t have a trustworthy crucible. Otherwise, it’s great thus far. You give me a crucible that’s not broken my review goes straight to 5 stars!

This melting furnace is a complete joke. It arrived without the graphite ingot, mold the rigidizer, refractory cement, or gloves, and this stuff isn’t easy to find anywhere. It’s not ready for use at all, and I easily could have damaged the insulation equipment if I hadn’t randomly come across a video that showed me exactly what to do. I’m warning everybody—do not purchase this unless you get these essentials.

I can’t get mine to melt anything, may try aluminum but I’m not holding my breath. Going to try it with oxy/acetylene rose bud but that’s a cost I was trying to avoid. Price would be good if it worked

Overall it works great and is a solid buy for the price. You need to be careful with the lid placement though. It got so hot one time when I didn't place the lid on quite right and now the frame is deformed. I need to adjust the insulation and fix the deformation before I use it again.

So before you guys even purchase this acknowledge the fact that you have to go out of your way get the refactoring cement and you have to apply this to that ceramic mat. Also I'm not sure it is actually made for the temperatures it can actually reach. The reason I say this is the top start to melt and turn into a bowl versus a lid. The overall device is all right but they used some s***** I mean crappy metal for the vessel. I may actually have to send this thing back because I don't want the vessel to up and fail on me when I've got gas flowing. Not to mention two lines generally means you may want to get a larger tank.

La forge fonctionne parfaitement par contre il est écrit nulle part (et j'ai lu le manuel) qu'il faut mettre du béton réfractaire sur l'isolant sinon elle va s'user très vite ... Sans compter les poussières de céramique cancérigène qui vont s'échapper ... Je trouve vraiment dommage qu'il n'y ait aucun guide comment l'utiliser correctement , pour ma part heureusement que j'ai regardé une vidéo YouTube avant de m'en servir Prévoyez d'acheter environ 5 kg de ciment réfractaire et ça fera le taf ...
