Great piece of equipment very well priced Assembly had its issues as some of the pre drilled holes were in the wrong spot and some not drilled at all

The bare bones are there. I read a bit about this unit before buying. One thing everyone seemed to agree on was sharpening the tines. I did this in about a half hour with a disc grinder and a sanding disc. I wish I would have done it before assembly. Next was the weight. I just placed two 30kg cement bags on it and added two 12lb dumbbells to get me to 150lbs. Moving forward I will build a plywood box that fits the tray and fill it with cement. I think this will better spread the weight. I’ll do the math to get the right weight on the mold to create a 150lb slab. I may go heavier as I found it only made about 1 1/2”- 2” cores. I did water extensively a few hours before using the aerator. The aerator did tear as much as it cored. Hoping that in the future with some tweaks to sharpening and with more weight we can get deeper with less tearing. Possibly play with driving speed. Time will tell if it makes a difference. It was easy to assemble and is quite robust for the price point. I did have to flip around the hitch connection in order to attach it to our Craftsman lawn tractor. In first gear with 17 1/2 hp this was easy work for our lawn tractor.

Love the areator, at first I was nervous with how many plugs it pulled, but now 2 weeks later my grass is looking better then it has in 5 years. Highly recommend

Although I haven’t had the chance to fully use the aerator yet, my initial review focuses on the build quality. The steel construction feels solid, and the powder-coated finish gives it a durable, long-lasting feel. Right out of the box, this aerator seems very sturdy. Excited to use!

I some how messed up putting it together lol but once I figured it all in all great equipment wouldn't recommend using bricks for weight I rubbed all paint off top on first use so get some heavy bags
