I was a little hesitant to buy this because other ones I’d seen were like 5 times the price. I’m using it on a surface grinder and it has been great. It holds really strong and has no issues being flooded in coolant while using.I’m really glad I bought it. It’s been great for flattening knife blanks. It also holds well to all the metals I’ve tried. Even S30V which is a stainless steel and isn’t that magnetic.

For Chineseeum it’s really not bad.

This magnetic chuck works well. Holds tightly. The tag fell off the front almost immediately but the tag doesn’t affect function at all.

Looks to be very good. 0.002" out of the box. Good grip. Would buy another.

Steve K.For the price point and quality I'm extremely pleased!! I'm a hobbyist machinist that needed a chuck for a recently purchase surface grinder. Being that it's my part time passion, I dont always have $500+ dollars to throw attachments or a premium name brand mag chuck. So I decided to give this one a try & I havent been disappointed or dissatisfied at ALL!! It has plenty of holding power for light to moderate grinding and I havent had any of my part move while taking passes. I'm using it on my vintage Barber-colman grinder and its performing to my exspections.

While we've not put it into production yet, it seems to have adequate hold.

Very nice magnetic chuck. Came with counter-bored bolt holes in each end for mounting. The picture looked like it had grooves in the ends for toe-clamping, but the bolt holes are even better. Nice packaging, and very nice finish. It also operates very easily and smoothly. This is by far the best chuck for the money. I looked at chucks for 10 times this much and they are no better.

Mounted it on my CNC knee mill and use for engraving thin metal signs. The 10x20 is very heavy but the additional mass does nothing but good for me. Don't hessitate this is a quality item!
