Has a lot of holding power when turned on

I mounted this chuck to my surface grinder and then checked it with a dial indicator. It was perfectly flat. It holds any steel I put on it very well. Only time will tell how it preforms in the future but for now, I just can't see how the more (much more) expensive chucks could be any better.

After much research, chose this chuck based on cost and intended use, which is surface grinding small knife blades and parts. Seems well made and holds parts adequately. Quite a bit cheaper than others listed. Recommend this.

I use this chuck to hold parts for grinding. It holds well and is easy to engage / disengage. It is heavy which is perfect for while in use. I've had it for a couple months now and it has seen heavy use. It holds up well. The case is hard and is not damaged from the grinder working the edges of thin parts.

This thing is strong. Sturdy and beefy.

This is great little magnetic chuck priced at an affordable price. Like most import products a little love and care goes along way so make sure you give it a proper cleaning and debur and smooth the sharp edges, a 15 minute job at most. The locking action is very smooth and you do not need much force which is a big improvement over my older chuck. It is also light enough to be transferred so if you work with small parts this is a great option. To those who complained about the work holding strength, I wonder if they are familiar with the correct usage of this type of chuck, make sure you have good metal to metal contact, ensuring that the holding surface is smooth and the chuck will grip amazingly.
