disappointing

This chuck, even though it states it comes with 3 mounting screws, it needs a 4 hole backplate. This will not fit on a 3 hole backplate. I am trying to get this matter sorted but the seller is so slow in responding and the answers given do not relate to the problem I am seeking a solution for.
