I've always wanted a metal detector and used it for my kids on the beach and it worked out great. The metal detectors are so simple to use that children can spend hours engrossed in their search for treasure.
Arrived promptly and was well packaged. The metal detector required virtually no assembly and only required 6 AA batteries, which is so much better than the 9v others require.
This is a very lightweight unit and on initial testing seems to performed better than expected.
