I would buy again

Open Fireplace chimney, it was difficult to control in the wide part of the chimney throat, otherwise, fine.

Cleaned my flue of creosote build up. Much better draft after cleaning. Could not spin the brush very fast or the line would shake too much. Found out why it is recommended to clean from the stove up. It is easy to drop the rods down the flue before they are all put together. But, it is less messy going from the top down. Just close up the stove and shut down combustion air and no crap got into the house.

Start with. product is not heavy duty, but well made. Each rod has a snap connection. this make it worth the money. also the "mandrel" stays well in the chuck.. make sure you tighten it so you don't lose it down the chimney. Torque it down tight. There should be a tip list giving tips on what and what not to do. 1) you will be dealing with soot. a mask is recommended. 2) most houses are pressurized, or positive air flow, even on the roof, the soot will travel up towards you. a fan or blower behind you will drive it away from you. 3) Use a quality drill with forward and reverse. you will want to go both ways to get it clean. 4) Use old clothes.. they might not come clean. 5) put a disposable drape around the outside of your fireplace -in your house- to keep the falling soot from going inside your house. 6) if you are on the roof...connect the rods and start from the lowest part of the chimney... you will address the thicker soot first and it will get easier as you go. (more soot accumulates at the bottom). 7) don't be in a hurry. soot will just keep coming out as long as you keep spinning your drill. wait until it falls or flies past you. * I have a straight pipe and I did not try from the inside of the house up... no experience here.* Hope this is helpful..

Very decent product. However ,in the beginning to complete assembly I had to adjust the size of the lock holed with the drill. After that i cleaned chimneys for my 2 stoves. Works very fine. Investment to this tool is mush cheaper that hiring the professional service

This works well when it stays together. I had a few issues with the sections coming apart which is a big pain when you are on the roof and part of it falls down the chimney. It did the job well by the end once I got the feel for how much stress it would bear before separating. The price was good and it saved me a lot of money over having someone clean the chimney for me. It was a learning experience overall because I discovered it is a very messy undertaking. I will be more experienced next time. Good product for the price. Gets the job done.

First of all do not tell me what to say . I don’t appreciate that. I like the product . I do not like the way it’s distributed. When you say it will be delivered at a certain time( and you pay for this ) not the company the consumer and there are off by 4-5 days and no weather issues involved . This leaves a bad taste to the consumer. But not the first time for fed ex . Do better

Die Rechnung soll ich mir nun im Internet suchen und Sie herunterladen. Das ist eine Frechheit. Ich habe besseres zu tun als im Internet nach meiner Rechnung zu suchen. Bei anderen Firmen wird einen die Rechnung per E-Mail zugeschickt. Bei jeden Kauf steht jeden Käufer eine ordentliche Rechnung zu. Ich werde bei dieser Firma nichts mehr bestellen. Il prodotto di per sé e buona e dura più di qualche pulizia ma io preferisco quello con la testina di metallo che è più resistente quindi spendi poco di più ma hai più qualità! Nonostante tutto è comunque molto buono e funzionante!
