Great product,well made, Highly recommend, Vevor customer service very compliant and easy to deal with.

Had cable steering in my 2014 Frontier bay boat going to my 90 HP Yamaha. The cable was on its last legs so I ordered this Vevor hydraulic steering kit. There were a couple issues I had to deal with on the install to make it work, and none of the issues related to the hydraulic kit itself. When I tried to remove my steering wheel it was corroded onto the cable helm shaft.....this would have been a problem if not for a sawzall to cut the old shaft....I did try heating the shaft with a torch, but it was not coming off. Once I had the steering wheel off I used a socket and a couple sledge hammers to drive the old cut shaft out of the steering wheel. Now I only had to remove the old cable.....Oh rats! the bend at the transom wasn't going to allow that to be done easily so this time I took a pneumatic cutting wheel and cut the cable in two (sawzall would not cut the cable easily). Taped a cord onto the cable and pulled it out at the transom and used the cord to pull the new hydraulic line back through up to the console. Used some lube on the hydraulic line to make pulling it easier. I shortened the hydraulic lines and then put the included hydraulic fittings on......the directions weren't much help for anything else but for putting the hydraulic fittings onto the hose they were spot on......make sure you read that part...... The cylinder hookup to the motor itself went well, but beware: It can be attached to the motor upside down (ask me how I know) Bleeding the line was expensive (used Seastar fluid) I should have captured it into another clean container to strain and reuse but I did not (2 quarts at $30 per quart). Can now turn the steering wheel with one finger when it used to be both arms working hard with the old cable. Hoping to get some good use out of it without issue........

I am highly impressed with this steering system. Anytime I buy a cheap Chinese knockoff it's always dicey on if it's a waste of money. This one isn't! It's a great sturdy good looking system. Easy to install, fill with oil and bleed. Seems like it's going to last a long time with high quality construction. It works as good as any I've seen. I'm impressed.

I have installed all types of hydraulic steering and this unit is identical to the major brands, even the box is the same just a blued out area where the big name should be. I installed on our work boat after the manual steering rod got stuck inside the tube. I'm impressed enough that I ordered one for my personal skiff.

Easy installation. Works great. No issues installing. Parts seem ruggedly made. Plenty of hydraulic tubing for longer runs as well. Happy so far.

The Vevor hydraulic power steering setup for outboard engine exceeded my expectations. Installed on a 18' Trophy with a Mercury 115 Four Stroke. It appears to be of equal quality to the name brand costing 2x as much. Installation was straightforward, all fittings, hoses and hardware were included. I highly recommend this unit and would definitely buy from Vevor again.

This was a great idea for my boat easy to install and worked better than I expected completely different boat now drives wonderful

Could not be happier. I had cable steering before and with hydraulic steering it is a difference of night and day. Easy to install even for a duffer like me.

Fitted to a 5.2 meter centre console boat with 70hp yamaha. I brought the bigger kit because of the extra hydraulic hose and pressure , luckily I did as there was only about 3 foot of each hose excess so no way the smaller 90hp kit would have had enough hydraulic line. Easy to fit but instructions are useless. 3rd unit i have fitted with no problems.
