After trying to sweep my chimney with a traditional chimney brush and rods, which required a treacherous climb on a steep roof, I unknowingly swept only a small portion of creosote from the chimney which caused a chimney fire that night! Scary! After much reading and searching I decided to try this method. I was able to completely clean out all the creosote (about three times the amount from my original sweep) from inside the house. No climbing on the roof, no ladders, and using the plastic sheeting provided, not much mess in the house. I do recommend this device. After using the same chimney sweep for 20+ years at $100.00-150.00 per year cleaning, the price jumped to $256.00 for basic cleaning. Prior to this I used to clean my own chimney every year. The VEVOR chimney sweep kit has SIMPLIFIED the cleaning process. No more ladders and working the brush up/down to clean the soot. the drill on the endroating the brush as you add lengths to get to the top cleans it in one pass. Just need to use the same precautions to prevent the soot from entering the room when cleaning the chimney. Slow and steady cleans well and helps prevent the back draft of soot into the house. For 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour of my time to clean the chimney once a year is well worth my time. Along with a MAJOR savings NOT paid to the sweep!!

Great item, did the job well, easy to assemble and disassemble, easily cleaned and stored in its own bag.

Was curious about it getting the job done when we purchased it but it worked great in my 12 ft pipe.

I love this chimney cleaner. We have had wood stove almost fifty years and we had to disassemble pipe to clean.Very easy to use, I ain’t no spring chicken. I reach inside stove to access pipe and it does all the work. Rods are very flexible to reach all turns. Husband was skeptical but now he knows it works. Cleaned lower chimney well. Now have to go one roof to do top. So much easier than taking L shape pipe apart, dragging outside and manually cleaning.Only problem is ROD extensions come apart but I think duct tape will help. A+ great idea.

I have never had a woodstove or cleaned a chimney myself before this year. When creosote started showing up, I began to panic about getting on top of my roof in freezing weather. I hooked up this product to my drill and had my chimney super clean in less than a half hour! So worth it! I chucked out the free, standard metal chimney brushes after I used this! It came in a nice storage bag to keep everything tidy and the directions were easy to follow!
