Works great easy to set up bright good price

We live on a large rural lot with several acres. One of our entrances is somewhat isolated from view but still near the house. We wanted to be able to light up the gate where the entrance is at but didn't want to run electricity to it. This Vevor Solar Street Light was the perfect choice for us. We mounted it on a post which was easy to do. We simply installed 4 screws and it was done. We mounted it about 20 feet into the air so that we could get good coverage and so that nobody could reach the light. With an outstanding 120,000 lumen bright light not only does it light up our gate but a lot of the area around the gate. All of this is controlled by a remote control which we leave in the house. We turn it on as needed which is a great feature. There are other lighting modes to chose from so simply choose the best mode for your application. This light supplies superb performance and an excellent price point and I plan on purchasing a few more for different areas on our property.

I have this mounted on a pole in my driveway. When we pull in the light comes on and we can safely walk to the house. Bright light and a good size area is covered. Solar powered to save on energy costs.

I need to start reading the details a little more closely, this thing is huge. I don't know why I thought it would be small, probably because it's a solar light, and solar lights are typically small. This light is 27\"L x 18\"W. It is definitely a streetlight. I'm happy though, because while I was expecting something smaller, this size is perfect for the location it will be going - on a dark street, that has little to no access to wiring for a proper lamp. This lamp comes with all the mounting hardware to be able to put it up on an established pole or wall. It comes with a remote... not sure if I will ever use it. Now, the negatives for my review. When I received this, the lamp was on, which is not a good thing for the battery. Typically, anything solar needs to be placed in a sunny location for several hours before you turn it on, to avoid issues with the battery capacity. I guess we will see how long the battery lasts in this thing, hopefully it wasn't irreversibly decreased in capacity. The second thing I noticed, is that the light rattles when you move it around. I don't know what is loose in the casing, or if maybe one of the loose nuts/bolts somehow got into the thing, I may have to open it to see. Because one of the bags containing mounting parts popped open, there were a few scrapes and divots in the actual lamp, but nothing too bad. Outside of those things of note, this is a great deal for a solar streetlight.

Yes, it is bright, but not street lamp bright. It absolutely needs to face in a NNE direction, to maximize the solar facing SSW. If that isn't your orientation, may not meet your needs.

Waking up early in the morning to pitch black to now with the vevor light is Amazing better now I can also see whose at my gate like the color of the vehicle and not just the headlights
