Motor works well for this application, Using it for a positive displacement pump that normally requires a gear drive motor. It does have the torque and HP to operate it at a lower speed.

I needed to quickly rotate platforms weighing over 250 lbs in either direction at about one revolution per second, reversing every second. Several less powerful but equally expensive electric motors failed to have the required torque, but this one is perfect for the task. Mounting is simple and the chain gear attached to the output shaft makes coupling to a larger gear very simple. The motor is of the brush type, so speed control and reversibility are easy. If the device had cost more, I would still give it a very high value rating! This is one of the best made machines I have purchased in years.

Motor will not fit the bracket. Now I wish I would have RETURNED it, but then I would have to give you a BAD rating, a 0 - 1 star.
