I ordered the VEVOR 12V 8KW diesel heater in May 2025 and it arrived within 4 days — excellent delivery and a smooth first-time order from their website. Setup was a bit fiddly and took time. The manual isn’t great, with poor translation and vague instructions across multiple models. YouTube was essential. Once installed, the unit felt sturdy and well-built. It runs much quieter than expected and gives out strong heat quickly. My workshop warms up fast, though I’ll test it further in colder weather. The exhaust and heat outlet pipes are short — I’ll need extensions before winter to install it permanently. I power it from a 24V battery bank and it works flawlessly. Starts easily and keeps running without issue. The LCD panel is hard to read and the remote takes getting used to, but both are functional. Ventilation is key — I currently vent through a door gap and will improve this with longer piping. Overall, I’m very happy with the heater. For the price, it’s hard to beat.

Hatte es schon mehrmals in Betrieb, heizt sehr gut, der Auspuff hatte einen Produktfehler, -ich erhielt einen Ersatz. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Would be nicer if insyruction man.didnt get destroyed ( wet beypnd belief but thing dtill seems to work well i just cant find out how to do the ectra things it can do ( bluetopth ) ect !!

On ne peut pas dire grand chose de négatif car il s'agit d'un chauffage qui fonctionne tres bien à bas prix. il faut voir dans le temps ! dommage qu'il n'y ai pas une fonction thermostatique. C'est le gros moins de cet appareil mais "presque" effacé par le prix compétitif.

Great unit! Wish I had sooner. The ticking is not even noisy, very mild. This will allow winter camping for my family no matter the temperature now.

Good little unit, instructions are all over YouTube so easy for novice to install / use. Some parts such as the heater vent pipe could probably be replaced with higher quality versions but over all this unit is well worth the price.

Die Heizung (variable mit 10l-Tank) kam sicher und gut verpackt ohne Schäden innerhalb 4 Tagen beim mir an. Das ist schon mal top. Bei der Bedienungsanleitung hapert es dann schon, da diese universell für alle Varianten ist. Egal welche Heizung und mit welchem Bedienfeld geliefert wird - dieselbe Anleitung. Wer früher LEGO-Technik hatte schafft den Aufbau problemlos. 12V-15A-Netzteil sollte am Start sein, sonst läuft sie nur per 12V-Akku/-Batterie. Nach dem Anschließen und verkabeln hat es ca. 10-12min bis zur ersten Wärme gedauert. Jetzt sind es max. 5min. Die Qualität der "Alu-Rohre" (Verbrennungsluftzufuhr, Wärmeableitung) ist dürftig. Einmal zu fest gedrüct, sind sie nicht mehr wie ursprünglich geplant nutzbar. Ansonsten schafft sie einen 36m³-Raum auf Stufe 2 innerhalb 90min von 10°C auf 15°C zu erwärmen. Allerdings bei internem Test-Aufbau nur mit Auspuff im Freien. Es kommt jetzt das ganze in Eine Box draußen an die Wand und nur der Warmluftstrom wird zirkulieren. Da es eine "undichte" Werkstatt ist, wird es auch keine Feuchtigkeitsprobleme geben

Easy to install

Ich nutze den Brenner und die Steuerung auf einem Segelboot, das ich damit im Winter heize. Es sind weitere Teile aus dem marine Zubehör verbaut, weil man den Schalldämpfer nicht unter dem Boot anbringen kann und sich sonst damit vergiftet. Hat gut funktioniert und war von der Wärme ausreichend. Nach vielen Stunden hat die letzte Heizung identisch mit dieser hier den Dienst aufgekündigt. Und da ich das Problem nicht anders lösen konnte habe ich sie jetzt noch mal gekauft, um den fehler durch Tausch der einzelnen Kompenenten besser eingrenzen zu können.
