Value Product For DIY Fire Pit Installers
This is a great product for any DYI who is tackling the fire pit installation process and wants to save some money. This product was recommended on YouTube, but after assembling and installing, I found some issues with the product. The assembly was fairly easy, but the aligning of each side was a bit tricky at first and didn't always seat well at the connecting points. After assembling you have a little gap, about 1/8" between each piece so if that is going to bother you, then don't buy this or be prepared to see it all the time. The build quality is okay, but could've used more weld around the seams. I'll attached photos for your viewing pleasure. Overall, I would still recommend this particular insert because of its 10 inch height. Many of the other inserts are 4 to 6 inches. Hope this help you in your decision. God Bless!!!

Good product and great customer service
42 x 36 x 10 inch
Must have been a bad day at the factory. Fire ring comes in four parts. Two with 'flanges' and two without. Mine arrived with one w/flange and three without. Could not be put together. Contacted customer service and they were great. Took about an extra week to resolve problem and they kept me informed every step. Take your time putting it together on a flat surface and try arranging the pieces every different way for the best fit. Edges of a couple of the pieces were a little off so I used large pliers and cardboard (to keep from marring the surface) to even them out. Sprayed with a couple of coats of Krylon high heat max paint to cover the bolts and add extra protection. So far, so good.

Works
Looks good and works fine. Edges are entirely flush when touching but not a big deal.

Smokeless Fire Pit 42”
42 x 36 x 10 inch
This fire pit liner was one of the best valued online as it has a thicker steel. As others mentioned, the welding could have been better. Knowing and preparing for this was simple, I purchased some furnace grade caulk to seal up the gaps. If you’re going smokeless, have multiple step bits handy for drilling as the steel dulls them down quickly. Used some high temperature paint to finish things off. For those wondering about the pavers, took 40 Beltis brand large pavers for this project.

After assembling the ring it wasn't perfectly round and didn't line up well with the fire pit. It would have been better if it was adjustable.
