I bought this core drill to core ten 8" holes through my 4" thick concrete patio for shade structure footings. Let me just say that I have used top name brands like Hilti before and was pretty surprised by the good quality this Vevor core drill is. I have affectionately named her "CHilti". The drill came with a 4.5" core that I did not use but looked high quality. I used a name brand 8" core bit and the machine handled it with zero problems. Chewed right through the rebar and never bound up. The included water hose adapter will work but I recommend buying a threaded garden hose adapter and appropriate fittings to ensure proper water flow during operation. Buying this was cheaper than renting and I would not hesitate to buy another Vevor branded tool for a specialty job due to quality and value they have provided me.

I’ve done a couple jobs with this guy now and couldn’t be happier with the performance. Paired it with a Hudson sprayer connected to the water line and makes great one-man work out of coring holes.

used it it drill 2 8\" holes through 7\" re-enforced concrete walls. Heavy to place but powered right through. Can't tell you about longevity as I only have 2 holes right now - but this with an 8\" bit was far cheaper then pro-drillers and the result is perfect - took about 30 minutes per hole - going slowly. You have to monkey around with the water feed though - not difficult and not that messy if you are careful

Seems very well built compared with other brand names and works fine for our application accessing through concrete driveways.

I have used it to cut a 6in diameter hole vertically through 8in foundation concrete on several occasions. Works like a champ! A 5gallon plastic pressurized water/chemical tank from home depot or lowes works fantastic to keep your cut wet. Takes perhaps 8 to 10 gallons of water for a core cut that size. Great machine!

Incredibly strong and well made wet Drill for the price , cuts through sandstone like butter with 127mm core drill , just attached a snap on hose fitting now perfect .

Brought this machine as a cheap throw away to core hole 450mm Slab x 16 Holes (127mm x450 Core Hole Blade). This machine was stronger enough to break through 6 bars of REO per hole and never had lack of power. I thought I’d give this a try as the price of this is practically a 1-2 day hire from a local hire company. I think this machine is more powerful than reputable brands on the market. The only downside is Vevor sell Core Hole Blades that I purchased that don’t fit the 1 1/4” thread on the core hole machine. I purchased an adapter off eBay (1 1/4 to 3/8), now the blades that I brought fit. I think these must fit the handheld core hole machines Vevor Sell.

I was a bit nervous to make this purchase due to the low price but in the end the low price made up my mind. This drill is used to core 4.5 inch holes through concrete floors to install Radon mitigation systems. It has now drilled 3 holes and so far it has been amazing. The bit cuts through the concrete like butter. Extremely please with the drill so far.

Such a good tool, price is good, delivery time was pretty good. If you need one of these, make sure you get one with the stand.
