10'' Diamond Core Drill Concrete Drilling Machine with Stand & Drill Bits 4450W

Great machine, if you have some experience with these machines or watch several YouTube videos. The included instructions are left wanting clarity. Th include handle and threaded bar, we had to figure out where they were supposed to be attached. Not explained is the need to attache a 1/2 inch (15mm) 'drop in anchor and bolt to stabilize the drill.

Drilled 10 4.25" diameter holes in my retaining wall at depth of 9" each. There were not many instructions to put it together, fortunately, it didn't really need it. They ship it a certain way, you have to take it slightly apart and put it back together the right way. The feet go on the "front" of the pedestal. The feet were essentially useless for me (though they would be great in most other scenarios). It would have been a great little addition if they had included the $4.00 garden hose adapter you need for the water. Additionally, a 1 1/4 to 5/8 attachment would have been great. I also wasn't sure what two of the pieces were for (they looked sort of like fuses, but I have no idea what they are). Aside from all of that, it was GREAT! I have NEVER drilled a core out in my life and I got 10 with this one core bit and core drill and they were exceptional. I DID predrill, though. I used a concrete bit in my hammer drill where I wanted the hole and a "throw away" 4.25" hole saw to score the blocks where I wanted the holes. It helped me line things up perfectly. Go SLOW at first. The big will catch on the ground if you go too quickly. So just take your time. Once you get a bit deeper into the core, you can push it a bit faster because the bit has the support from the walls. But until you get down a bit, it'll catch and (if you're not standing on the drill plate on the back) throw you around. Make sure to TURN OFF the machine before pushing the reset button. Always restart from scratch. Turn everything off, reset position, buttons, etc. Then start. 5 Stars because it did exactly what I needed it to do without any additional needs, saved thousands of dollars, and looks like it'd be able to do it for a lot longer.

Great core drilling machine, I used it on concrete wall (7.5" thick), with 4 inch bit, easy to use and setup. No issues yet, highly recommend.

The equipment looks to be well built for the purchase price, but I would consider it a tool for the DIY guy, but that's just my opinion. The provided paperwork does not really cover assembling the core drill, but its not hard to figure it out, just look at the exploded view in the back of the booklet. what is not identified is the needed Q.D. for the water line, for my application I needed an adapter for a 5/8\" fitting. I found that Gardena P/N 36918 works perfect and I found it at a local hardware store for $3.99.

This tool helped my company, easy to work with, cost efficient I will be purchasing many more products I see that are needed For my company.

Good product for the price. The base could be redesigned to be more stable when drilling at the far end of the range as the stand flexes too much when starting a large hole over 3” and an extra brace is needed to prevent wobble. The one piece that wasn’t available is a good interfacing of the bits to the tool, a different adapter should be provided as a 5/8” piece of all thread with a hole drilled in it to achieve the wet drilling abilities advertised is a weak fix to a coupling that could be sold along with the bits to fit the drill more appropriately.

Very good tool and the best price ever need to do very good support and work perfectly and need to change the hose with another one better.

Easy to setup and use - just fresh a couple of fittings for the water - and away you go! Did a whole pool fence in a morning and have used it a couple of times since then. Never used core drill previously and had to work it out with costs quoted to get job done. Well worth every cent!
