This sprayer is much nicer than those cheap plastic jobs! Only complaint is the flimsy hose that kinks easily. I replaced the hose right away and added a schraeder tire fitting to allow pressurizing the tank with my air compressor saving the effort of pumping up the pressure by hand.

Myself and my girlfriend had been using a different plastic sprayer to wash our trucks or even ourselves with during our hikes or lake swims. But we've always been concerned about the sprayers being made out of plastic and how they deteriate over time. It's one thing to have a broken sprayer, it's another to have it's plastics leech onto our skins. As such, we've been on the marketplace for a stainless steel sprayer and we have defiantly found it with this unit. Using an appropriate sized horse barb fitting and a garden hose nozzle you can easily make this into a great personal shower to use on yourself. It being made out of stainless steel also allows you to put it directly over fire to boil the water, saving you a considerable amount of time and space. It's also a game changer if you are a camper or a overlander, using the same system to wash your dishes with or clean the inevitable bug splatter on your truck's fender. Using a magnet and a test kit I can confirm that the chassis and all parts except for the pull rod and filling bowl at the top are made out of higher quality stainless steel. So basically all parts that do have contact with water have a higher chromium content, which is good ion my books as it's one thing to advertise stainless steel, another to display proper use of high quality materials where it counts. However I acquired a system where the pressure gauge was made out of plastic. To me this isn't a big deal as I was intending to replace it with a heating sensor for my particular needs, but I wanted to mention it for future buyers. I also acquired a slightly gauged in handle, but it surly isn't a deal breaker. You also get some spare parts in a baggie, which is always a big plus in my books. If you intend to follow suit into using this unit as a shower I would recommend a smaller unit as it takes less time to boil water within. 1.5 gallons is more than enough for a single [or two, if you're close with your special someone] person[s] to have a very long shower with. But if you are extra frugal you can easily get away with 1-2 liters instead as a solo pilot. So the larger units aren't worth the extra hassle. Overall I give this a 4/5. It would have acquired a 5/5 if it wern't for the scratched up handle and the gauge. But for our needs and for the price we would give it 6/5. Amazing value for your money.

tip came off after several uses . being that was pressed onto the wand it couldn't be put back on rendering the sprayer inoperable

Después de más de un mes de espera del pedido y tras reclamarlo la empresa me ha escrito que el pedido se ha perdido en el transporte, pero no me van a enviar el aparato, porque es un proceso problemático para ellos. Tengo que solicitar la devolución del importe y volver a hacer el pedido. Es lo que he hecho, pero sin volver a pedir el aparato, no me apetece volver a pasar por la misma experiencia de que ni siquiera se den cuenta que no han entregado el pedido tras un mes después de la compra. Me han devuelto el importe tras la solicitud.

Very tinny when compared to my old Craftsman. Does not appear to be heavy duty. Opening for placing spraying material (weed sprays, water) is small.

I have purchased 3 of these tanks. I leave liquid in them and probably should empty and clean out. No I’m not going waste my time doing that each time. The pumps stop pumping pressure after about a year. They do send repair kits. Must be on going problem with every one else too sending repair kits. I can buy a cheap sprayer $12 use it and throw it away each year SAVING Money. Will NOT BUY AGAIN.

L’acciaio in questo caso non è un vantaggio, sia per il peso che per la necessaria trasparenza per vedere i livelli. L’erogatore è corto, troppo, anche se apprezzabile che sia tutto in metallo. L’innesto verso la leva spesso si allenta. Comodo il manometro ma la pressione scende in fretta rispetto al mio precedente, in plastica e straeconomico. Non credo che la pompa sia efficiente vista l’entità delle spinte per arrivare ai 2 bar. Non riacquisterei. Affascinante da vedere ma meno efficiente di altri di plastica ma di qualità al medesimo prezzo.
