The lathe is a good quality machine for a small lathe. Where it lacks is the poor instructions and poor quality photos in the instructions. Some instructions are unclear and some necessary instructions missed out entirely. Photos are sometimes low resolution and unclear. The positives are the metal gears. It is a bit sad that vevor does not have extra tool options for this lathe and you need to go to 3rd parties for tooling.

Good all-around unit can work with seamless pipe; this is hard to use most of the time. Had to adjust free play on cross slide and the chuck is a bit gritty but will smooth out with use, overall, a good beginner's unit.

Does this lathe have external jaws for the 3 jaw chuck and what us the largest size round bar it can hold in chuck?

It has external jaws. In the tool box, the positive jaw clamping range is: 2-30; the positive jaw tightening range is: 30-90; the external jaw clamping range is: 30-80.

The manual for this machine (C0618BX3500 indicates it can cut imperial threads as well as metric. Is this correct?

Can I attach a rear 3 jaw chuck at the back hole? If it is possible, could you recommend your item please?
I’d like to hold tightly a long wood stick using front and back both chucks together.
