The price was good so I bought one. I have drilled about 70 holes in light steel and I cannot fault it except the magnet is a bit weak. I can work with that most of the time.

This has truly been a job saver for me. I needed to drill 20 holes in the side of a large steel lintel and this unit handled it with ease. The coring bits are top quality and even after drilling 20 holes through 18mm steel this thing is still going strong. Value for money this drill cannot be beat. Only thing I found difficult to use was the oil dripper but you can easily squeeze some oil directly on the job like I did or squeeze it into the hose. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5 I would. Great design great tool.

Well packaged with delivery on time. Building a fixture table for welding. For anyone reading. I am a maintenance fitter by trade (retired) So I know a little already. Marked out and set up the fixture table. Setting up the drill was simple as was attaching the cutters to the Weldon coupling. Pushed about 100 X 16mm holes through 6mm plate as my test piece..Broke a cutter ( not yours) at about hole 85. I found using proper coolant during the cut to be a great advantage so thanks for the cooling system. Note. I believe these cutters need cooling vs oiling. Keeping cutters cool is the secret..You never see oil in a machine shop. It is soluble oil and water that is used.. Anyway, all works well. It would be great, given 10 speeds are available if we had a table of speeds vs material and cutter size. Would be fantastic. Furthermore, your addition of reverse will be extra useful when tapping in and reversing out. Excellent. Being able to slide the quil higher is also a plus when using the chuck. So is motor cutout should we accidentally turn the magnet off. Overall, a great product at the right price. I really thought I was going to get a set of annular cutters with this. Instead I only received two 40 mm cutters and had to buy my own which was a bummer.

Very pleased with the drill. Does the job perfectly. We recently got flooded by rain and my tools went underwater including the new Magdrill. I thought it would be ruined but after drying it out for a day it kept on working without any problem. Can recommend this drill

I bought this drill for shed construction. I am very pleased with the ease of use horizontal or even upside down, because of its lightness to handle. The use of a spray bottle is necessary for the coolant lubricant onto the core cutter when not using it upright of course.
