I did use them to hold up the front of my 2010 Fusion hybrid to change the steering rack. Functioned well, they seem well-made and intelligently engineered. I especially like the pads welded on the bottom of the legs, they are essential for stability, in my opinion. i had them positioned behind the front sub frame, so they were essentially holding 80% of the vehicle weight.

Nice double locking high capacity jack stands
This is a pair of high capacity, 6-ton jack stands. My wife has an electric car and I have a plug in hybrid. Both cars are really heavy due to the battery banks. I didn't trust my old jack stands to hold the weight of these electric vehicles, so we got these 6-ton jack stands. They have a nice added feature that is a pin that helps to secure it along with the typical ratchet bar that my old jack stands have. I feel much more confident getting under our electric car with these jack stands. They are made in China, but then I think that my other stands are also made in China. The metal and welds on these look like they are quality made. Recommended purchase!
