I ask what the Heat Output in kW is at the maximum fuel consumption on 0.52L of Diesel per hour. The quotient heat out put / heat input is the thermal efficiency and only that counts.

For the 5 kw portable diesel heater you show a young child sleeping in a car with the diesel heater. For this setup where does the exhaust gas go?

Is the efficiency of the all-in-one maintained if the unit is mounted outside the vehicle with the inlet and outlet ducts both feeding into the cabin (so that increasingly warmer air is sucked in)? Or, is the warmth of the unit fundamental to its efficiency?
