The telescopic ladder is folded and stored inside/beneath the hard shell of the rooftop tent for transportation. It travels with the tent when closed.
Mounting a solar panel on the top surface is not recommended . The aluminum hard shell is for protection only and not structurally reinforced for extra loads, which may affect safety and closing function.
