Does this scooter flex in the main frame joint such that it creaks or squeaks when you have weight on it and going over uneven ground. Another popular brand I tried had this problem between the front and back frames that telescoped to provide the sdjustment?
Generally, you don't need to add air within half a year. This depends on the actual use. If you find that the tire is flat, you can add some air appropriately.
