This model comes with a foot switch, but the foot switch only controls the gun’s on/off function—it does not control the current. Additionally, you must turn off the foot switch function when using the device. If this answer does not resolve your issue, please contact us again for assistance.

What is the OCV (open circuit voltage) of this welder. Also why is the 225A welder cheaper and in the manual says it's rated to 4mm rods, but manual says 200a welder is rated to 5mm rods, is this a mistake in the manual. Thank you.
