Is it easy to clean? Especially concerned with the wax etc going through the tap? Can it be removed to clean completely?

After cooking the wax, pour water in and cook for 15-20 minutes. After the wax melts, pour out the water and wipe it dry with a rag. The faucet can be removed for cleaning.

Does the tap stay hot enough so the wax doesn't clog it? I have a wax melter already (from another company) that doesn't have a brass tap and the steel tap stays too cool to allow wax to ever come out of it, even in 28 degree heat.

If not handled properly, wax will clog the faucet. It is recommended to drain all the wax out after each use before it solidifies.
