This tool set cannot be used to create flared ends on brake lines that comply with DIN standards (European standards). All dies and punches in this VEVOR 45° brake line flaring tool set are designed with a 45° cone angle. If used directly on 90° DIN fittings found in European vehicles, the 45° rear angle of the flare will not fit perfectly against the nut and the fitting’s seating surface. Uneven stress distribution can easily lead to brake fluid leaks or damage to the threaded connection.
