Can the frame be screwed into a timber strip 12mm thick. I have a small veranda in the front corner of my house. Apart from a timber frame around a wrap around fibro there is no solid section where a dyna bolt or expansion screw call be installed. The front section is 1M wide while the side is 2M.

12mm is a bit thin and the board may not be able to withstand it if it’s windy or rainy.
