Does the size refer to the inner ring of the bearings or the outer ring? I have some bearings that are 40mm inner and 80mm outer.
The size refers to the bearing’s outer diameter, not the inner ring. Your 40 mm inner / 80 mm outer bearing is too large for this set, which supports separators from 30–70 mm outer diameter.
