Is the control box uv rated or do you need to protect it from the sun without affecting the light sensor for opening and closing the door?

There is no anti-ultraviolet level. The light sensor needs to be opened when the sun shines, and needs to be closed when the sun sets, so there is no sun when the door is closed, and it does not affect normal work.

Hello. Does the remote work only for line of sight or can it work through the coop wall. Also, what is the range of remote control. Thanks.

The remote control range is about 40 meters without occlusion. Remote control distance is related to battery power and weather.
