Can i replace resin to get 0 tds as i am getting 400 tds and a ph of 7.6 which is higher than my tap water . On the water softener which i just purchased.

The water softener does not reduce the TDS value, it only softens the water quality and reduces the calcium and magnesium ion content in the water.

How do you regenerate internal silicon balls,as per conventional softners.?
