Are the couplers 1/2 inch NPT flat face? Are they compatible with the flat face couplers you also sell sets of?

In the pictures it looks like 90 degrees is the fully opened position. Then there appears to be 3 different holes to adjust the open and closed position slightly. What are the angles that this unit achieves when fully open and closed? Also, what type of fittings are on the hose ends and what thread is needed if we need different fittings?
